December in Corbett is the best of the year
Christmas Eve by the bonfire, a gala dinner under fairy lights, Santa for the children and a slow Christmas morning with the Corbett forest at the end of the garden.
Crisp mornings, clear afternoons and evenings cold enough for a bonfire — the season is made for Christmas. We dress the lawns in lights, put a tree up in the lobby and bake plum cake in the kitchen from the first week of December.
Christmas Eve is the big night: a gala dinner, carols round the fire and Santa arriving with something for every child. Christmas Day is deliberately slow — a long brunch, the pool if the sun is out, and a safari for those who want one.

Forty-eight rooms across five categories, all with air-conditioning, a television, tea and coffee making, running hot water and daily housekeeping. The starting price applies to the entry category; tell us which you would like and we will quote the rest.
Before you book
How many nights should we book?
Two nights (24 and 25 December) is the most popular, so you get Christmas Eve and a slow Christmas Day. One night and three-night stays are also possible.
Is the Christmas Eve gala dinner included?
Yes, for every registered in-house guest on the package.
Is it cold in Corbett in late December?
Days are pleasant and mornings and nights are cold, often around 6 to 8°C. Bring warm layers for the bonfire and for any morning safari.
Can you arrange a jungle safari?
Yes. Our safari desk books permits for the Dhela and Jhirna zones, ten minutes away. December fills fast, so send guest ID details as early as you can. Permits are charged at cost.

- Programme is indicative and may move indoors with the weather.
- Festive dates are non-refundable within 15 days of arrival. Date changes are subject to availability.
- Safari permits are issued by the Uttarakhand Forest Department and charged at cost.
